Every day I hear from people asking me to help them out and “motivate” them.

I am a believer that the greatest motivation comes from inside YOU and all I or anyone else can do for you is to reveal to you your own inner desires and resources. The next time you feel stuck, instead of waiting for motivation, follow these 10 steps and start creating Momentum instead. The motivation is sure to follow.

Millions of people started the day today “hoping” for motivation to get them through the week. They woke up waiting for some external force to inspire and light a fire under them so they could make it through the day. Not an exciting way to begin the week, do you agree?

Does it make sense to await motivation from an outside source and “hope” it arrives or does it make more sense to learn a few key strategies for motivating yourself week after week consistently? After all, we are given 52 Mondays each year. What if you could turn them into the springboard for creating a great week guaranteed every time?

Creating a great week is not something that happens by accident; in fact, you have the power to create momentum anytime you desire. This lesson focuses on empowering ways to approach Mondays so you can create unstoppable momentum and create the best week of your life every week.

10 Steps to Creating Monday Momentum:

1. Decide in advance that you are going to have a great week.
Start each day with an attitude of gratitude. Your attitude determines your altitude and it starts right here with the decision. Expect success, expect the best, and be prepared to invest the very best of yourself in everything you do.

2. Define Success more clearly.
Envision exactly what it means to have a great week. Does success mean productivity? Fun? Speed? Quality? Progress? Completion? What elements do you need to create in order to realise your vision this week?

3. Map out your week on Sunday evening. At first this may seem challenging but after a few tries, you will be in awe of how easy it is to set yourself up for success. Here are some questions to get you started: What are your priorities for the week? What are the essentials you absolutely must accomplish and in what order of importance? What do you need to do this week to meet your Goals for the month, for the year?

4. Schedule your actions and priorities
into your calendar so that you know when you will do them.

5. Create measures of accountability.
Are you motivated by pain or pleasure? Does it give you a kick in the pants to know there is a fun reward at the finish line for doing what you promised or are you more motivated by the pain of having to pay for NOT doing it?

Determine your own personal rewards you will enjoy for following through on your commitments and what penalties can you impose on yourself if you don’t? Bring in a friend or peers for extra reinforcement. Having someone to hold you accountable will keep you honest and give you an extra edge. There is nothing like succeeding or failing in front of an audience. You can raise the bar on this as high as you need to.

6. Go to bed early Sunday evening. Stretch or meditate prior to bedtime. You will feel more rested when you wake up and you will have energy, vigour and enthusiasm to begin your day. There’s nothing as energising and momentum building as arising with clarity, getting a jump on the day and being ahead of schedule, rather than feeling like you’re behind schedule or playing catch up.

7. On Monday morning rise a little earlier, get in a quick workout, even if it’s just a 15 minute walk or ride on the exercise bike. I love to start the week with my early morning swim workout. It really blows the cobwebs out from the weekend. Wake up your brain and get those endorphins flowing. You will burn more fat, feel GREAT and get it out of the way so you’re free to move on to other things.

8. Eat a healthy breakfast. This will provide you with the fuel to tackle your top priorities. (Planning your week in advance means planning your meals in advance if you want to be super productive, energised and stay away from fast foods, which are a huge energy drain) What you put into your mouth has a direct effect on your productivity, efficiency and mental clarity.

9. Listen to one hour of an empowering audio program while you’re working out and eating breakfast. This will help you with the mental motivation and get you going with the right attitude. For Club members I highly recommend your download Shelley’s 69 favourite Taylor-Made Motivations or review one of any of the Go-for-Gold Blogs at the Think Like A Championclub which available to the general public.

10. At the end of each day and the end of each week, review what you did or didn’t do.
Make adjustments where necessary and keep building on your strengths and celebrating your successes. Have fun and remember that small improvements add up over time. Imagine how much more clarity, motivation and achievement you will experience after growing and improving consistently for 52 weeks!

Momentum breeds momentum.

Unleashing these powerful strategies will condition you to seize the day every day. You will condition yourself to know where you are going, get moving and you will have all the motivation and Momentum you need to carry you through the week.

Now get out there…and get on with enjoying your Monday!

Go for Gold…it’s your birthright to succeed.
Cheers Shelley Taylor-Smith

What gets in your way? Is it your stinking thinking?
Have you ever wondered why you are not achieving your goals?

There are many factors why you are not reaching your Champion potential, but if you are aware of them, you can overcome them. Often a lack of self confidence, gossip, fighting and selfish ego of others, your team spirit gone, team support system gone can make it difficult to build your career or small business, so for every obstacle, here is how to overcome it!

With these problems, take the initiative to create an environment of open communication. Create a team that encourages each other, have the attitude, YOU CAN AND YOU WILL!

With isolation, fears, insecurity and sabotage, recognise the symptoms, discuss with your support team and staff, and most importantly listen to the natural born Champion within as you stand up and shine!

The thing about bad news is that it travels outwards to your customers as well as within your team members, but with good news, it seems to not travel within or outwardly. Lets open up the lines of communication with good news, and with the bad news, lets work together to solve the problem instead of stagnating on the problem.

 Got a fear of change? Of the unknown? Stuck in your comfort zone, because your old life is known entity.

 Do you have stinking thinking like: “Will people still like me if I succeed?” It sounds silly but its a very real problem for some people.

 Do you have a fear of disappointment or failure? If I dream, I may get my hopes up or do you have a fear of commitment?

Focus on abundance, not scarcity; focus on freedom, not fear. Make a choice and decide to act! Get rid of the excuses and show up!

1. Are you lacking a clear direction? Have you lost focus? Consider coaching, go back to your goals that you set for yourself for 2009 and review your whys!

2. GOT NO TIME? Consider a family contract agreement, use the chess game principle, or the 80/20 rule.

PEOPLE FIND TIME & PEOPLE FIND MONEY FOR WHATS IMPORTANT TO THEM!
1. Are your TEAM MEMBERS, STATE MANAGERS or STAFF stuck? Don’t focus on the outcome, guide and encourage them, let go of control issues, when you ask them questions listen for their obstacles and consider a coaching session.

2. Are YOU stuck? Take an honest assessment of your activities and review weekly and monthly tasks, your 12 month analysis or daily method of operation. Take an honest assessment of YOU, the leader sets the pace.

3. Are you a leader that others will follow? Are you the best member on your team? Or are you just a BOSS to them? Your team is watching what you DO!

THEY DON’T KNOW WHAT THEY DON’T KNOW

********************************************

YOU DONT HAVE TO BE PERFECT!
To get in the driver’s seat of your life
To become a doer
To overcome your fears
To follow through on what you say
To complete what you start
To make a huge difference in world
To touch future generations
Or be a perfect health specimen!
Or be a doctor or nurse to
Help people with their health
Knowing you made a difference
Touch future generations

Because:
You can’t say the right thing to the wrong person; Or the wrong thing to the right person.
The people/customers/clients who need your services will be there;
The words that need to be said will be said
It’s not all about you or me get your EGO out of the way!
As a matter of fact, there aren’t any perfect people!
And nobody would particularly like a perfect person if there was one!

Get over you! Because there are a lot of people out there who need your help!

and remember: YOU ARE THE CHAMPION RESOURCE FOR YOUR TEAM!

How’s Your Work-Attitude Motivation?

Attitude of Gratitude
How’s your Work-Attitude Motivation?

When people feel that the work they put in doesn’t make a difference to anyone - they stop trying to give their best and do just enough to get through.

You probably know people who clock in and simply ‘do their job’ and then clock out.

When a person feels that no-one really cares about what they do or who they are, they begin to not care either. Perceived indifference is not just a reason why customers change where they shop, but also why people don’t try as hard or change jobs.

The reality is that the energy you feel is the energy you give out. If your energy is flat, then that’s the energy you work with and what people perceive you to be. Ultimately, you decide what your energy will be - not anyone else.

However, when people are acknowledged for their significance and contribution to success, they fully apply themselves, take initiative, and build a positive attitude into their work culture.

Think about it, if you were regularly acknowledged for the efforts you put in and acknowledged for the impact that you create, do you think that would accelerate how driven and committed you become to your work goals, projects and deadlines?

Absolutely! Although the practice of gratitude is used in many personal development circles, its impact is seen in business, client relationships and professional alliances. People like to do business with people who genuinely care about us and who make us feel good.

There are endless studies that point out the self confidence one receives from positive reinforcement and genuine display of gratitude.

3 ways to spread the attitude of gratitude in your workplace:

PS: they work fabulously at home too!

a. Direct Gratitude
Communicate directly with the person. Don’t use email, text or voice-mail for this one. Pick up the phone and call them. Let them hear the genuine tone in your voice. Better still, go and see them face to face to acknowledge their contribution. Make eye contact. Don’t write what you can say. Take clients out for lunch for no other reason (and for no other agenda) except to say thank you for your business.

b. Regular Gratitude
Each week (or day) find something positive to tell your team, colleagues, clients, partner and kids. Make a habit of seeing the good in people reinforces that they have been noticed and their efforts are adding to the success of the company goals.

c. Random Gratitude
Don’t wait for a reason, the right moment or the right person. Practice random acts of acknowledging people just for doing what they do. The energy you give out is the energy you work with - so infect as many people as you can. Send random thank you cards to your clients, colleagues and staff.

Have a great attitude day!

Attitude: Shifting The Mood

Attitude Follows Perspective: Shifting The Mood

We all have days when we are faced with chores, errands, or responsibilities that we don’t want to do. At times like these, it’s easy to get into a bad mood and stay in one as we tackle these tasks or even avoid them altogether and then spend the day beating ourselves up over it.

However, given the fact that our bad mood will not change the fact that we have to do these things, and will most likely make things worse, we could also try to shift our attitude. Many wise people have pointed out that it is not so much what we do as it is how we do it that makes the difference in our lives.

I say it is not what happens to you that maketh the Champion; it is how you handle/respond to the circumstances, event and/or outcomes that IS the Champion!

It’s important when we’re facing something that’s really hard for us, whether it’s doing taxes, paying bills, or making follow up calls, that we lovingly support ourselves through the process.

The more supported we feel, the easier it is to open our minds to the idea that we could change our way of looking at the situation. In truth, most of the activities we don’t like doing are intimately intertwined with our blessings. When we remember this, we feel gratitude, which makes it hard to stay in a dark mood.

Last week when I was feeling a bit overwhelmed dealing with last minute preparations for six (6) upcoming Rotary presentations in Western Australia presenting on the wonderful work of Bluearth Foundation and the FINA World Swimming Championships in Rome in July; I felt myself avoiding getting to bed early; so I had a 1on1 with my natural born Champion within and got it off my chest.

The return message from within; (she does respond in the quickest of return messages) recommended that I shift my attitude and act as if I was having fun writing all the articles. So I thought to myself, “OK, I can try this.” Before I started my final drafts, I said to myself; I love writing articles and offering people hope. This is really fun and I have all the time I need; through the Champion Motivations weekly newsletter and magazine articles; to connect with people and make a difference in their lives. And I have to tell you, it really worked.

Following up with calls, even some of the no’s I received with “too many words Shelley” or “cut the article by another 200 words” were actually enjoyable conversations and I was able to leave a little positive DNA with each person before hanging up.

Call to Action: We all have the opportunity to shift our attitude by considering how much we love servicing our customers and clients with our products and services. As you make calls to your customers and clients; remember your solutions are gifts and how blessed we are to be able to provide that service. Any task can be transformed from a burden to a necessary aspect of caring for something we love. All we have to do is shift our perspective, and our attitude follows shortly behind.

Get “in the zone” right now
Saturday, February 14th, 2009

With the Victorian Bushfire tragedy in Australia this past week, like many Australians I have been focused on how I can assist in any way to support my fellow Aussie mates who have suffered in a way that I cannot even begin to imagine or comprehend.

So if you are feeling a bit drained, emotionally or physically, from this week’s events and have lost your laser focus on achieving your goals… you are OK….this is normal behaviour.

Let’s help support you to get you back on track and ‘in the zone’ right now….back into action focused on the scheduled plans you have set in place to achieve your goals.

Focus - Some of the most difficult kind of setbacks to achieving your goals is accepting the ones where you miss your goal by the tiniest of measures… losing on the final shot, losing the promotion because of a single botched assignment, failing a test by one point. There are a million other examples. And they are all painful.

The one common thread in all “close but no cigar” failures is that with just a little more focus, just one hour more of practice, the tiniest bit of attention to just one detail and a crushing defeat would have been a glorious, possibly life changing victory.

For that reason the Think Like A Champion Club blog is now available to everyone who visits the Think Like A Champion Club. ….

And another reason why I created the Thinking Like A Champion Club that is filled with attitude altering new beliefs, from the world’s most successful people that will help you gain laser-like focus on the details related to your most important objectives in life. When the pressure is on, you want to instinctively perform at your best no matter what distractions may be present.

So sit back and listen to the day I turned a potential negative experience into a positive, saw a risk as an opportunity, overcame the major obstacles, and embraced one of my greatest fears whilst I created new friends “the jellyfish”!

……creating history along the way too; winning gold and achieving the inaugural FINA Women’s World Champion 25km long distance event in my hometown of Perth, Western Australia.

Get focused right now….click here

and remember:…. if you don’t quit, you will make it!

If you are a Think Like A Champion Club member and need a power call - your get out of jail - pick Shelley’s brains…call me on 1300 78 41 70 or email your 3 time slots this coming week and we’ll confirm your 10min power call complimentary coaching as a member of the club …and I will coach you to get focused and in the zone.

Do you really know the secret?
Thursday, February 12th, 2009

The Secret created a great deal of publicity for the DVD “The Secret” and more generally “The Law of Attraction” is all over the internet at the moment.

It seems people are waking up to the fact that, what you focus on, you tend to create in your life. Speaking to you as someone who understands the power of taking control of your life, I’d reinforce this message wholeheartedly.

You really have the power to create almost anything you truly want in your life and are creating your experience of life with your thoughts every moment of every day.

However, my experiences speaking to people since the hype over the last couple of years have led me to believe that many people are missing a crucial detail.

The pace of life is speeding up and we live in a world where people increasingly want to make things easier and quicker and that includes me. My coaching philosophy is about helping people make the changes in their life they’ve been procrastinating on for years, and I believe the easier we can make those changes the better.

However, in listening to “The Secret” etc. many people seem to have decided that all you have to do is “ask” and the universe will provide for you, “Your wish is my command” as they say in the film.

The truth is there really is more to it than that, you have a big part to play too, and by part to play I mean action to take. Many people seem to have missed this part in the film.

Taking charge of your thoughts and visualising what you want will transform what appears in your life and then you have to take action when the opportunities arise.

The first steps of the process help you clarify what you want, get you on the path to believing you can have it and then sensitises your unconscious filters to the opportunities that are all around you all of the time. Then it’s your turn, when an opportunity arises, you have to take action.

If you want to use the metaphor of the “universe providing” then you could see taking action as your part of the bargain. Taking action and being willing to learn from the feedback is a crucial element of personal empowerment.

Too many people these days are waiting for the time to be perfect, or for other people to act so they can act. By developing the habit of being proactive, taking action and learning from the result, people can break out of their old fears and realise much more of their Champion potential.

So maybe the next time you find yourself thinking, I’ll do that when…, or I wish they’d do … then I could… etc. Maybe you could just ask: “What can I do right now to move this forward?”

It could be as simple as making the phone call! But do it!
Whatever it is do it and begin to break those old reactive patterns today!

Accepting that in taking action you will get a result, and you can learn and develop from that result, be it the result you wanted or not.

As you begin to take more action, I’ll think you’ll find as many people throughout history have found before you, that life tends to reward action.

It’s no secret that action combined with reflection and learning from the result leads to every success in life, from a baby learning to walk, to the first steps on the moon. All success is built on this simple principle.

Think about these examples that will help you attract what you want …remembering we attract what we are in order to create what we want:

What’s really important to me today?
and what am I willing do about it?

Or maybe a better question is, What action will you take today?
Whatever it is, if you were to do it today, what could you learn?

And remember to have some fun today too.

Go for Gold!
Cheers Shelley

Beijing 2008 Olympic Games are soon approaching…..so let’s focus on your Goal Achievement in the same way.

How would you successfully eat an elephant? ….one bite at a time! and the same goes for goal setting: one step at a time.

So how do you raise your game….and achieve your goals one step at a time?

Anyone interested in swimming will be aware of the achievements of the Australian 1500m freestyle World Record holder & 2-time Olympian, Grant Hackett. In the course of a spectacular career, Hackett has rewritten the record books when he became the only man ever to win back-to-back 1500m freestyle gold medals, in Sydney 2000 and Athens 2004 Olympics. At times he is, quite literally, ‘in a class of his own’.

The world will be watching in Beijing to see if Grant Hackett can become the first man in history to win three consecutive Olympic gold in the 1500m freestyle. The distance champion climbed back after sinking to an unlikely low at last year’s world championships when he finished seventh in his signature event, bringing his 11-year 1500m reign to an end.

Hackett showed the world he was coming at Australia’s Olympic trials in March when he produced some of his best times in years. Hackett’s disappointment at missing out on a berth in the open water 10km marathon swim event has only added fuel to his quest for a place in the record books.

….And GRANT Hackett’s bid for Olympic history in Beijing lifted a gear on Sunday 20th July 2008 when he smashed his own 800m freestyle short-course World Record, warning rivals there’s still a lot to come.

However, according to the man himself, his achievements are based not purely on talent and hard physical conditioning, but on mental strength and a clear vision of where he wanted to go.

Grant Hackett developed a plan of how to get there and mobilised his extraordinary talent through effective goal setting.

***How goal-setting enhances performance by 78%***

You may not have used goal setting before. Or if you have tried and discarded it, there’s a good chance you misunderstood how it works.

One of the main problems is that not everyone is are aware of the principles of goal setting and how to apply them effectively. So a key purpose of this section of the Go-for-Gold Blog: Goal Achievement is to give a better understanding of how to use goal-setting to enhance your performance and productivity and avoid disappointments.

Not everyone has the talent to be a Grant Hackett, but anyone can achieve significant improvements in their performance and productivity by the same means.

Many people associate goal setting with New Year resolutions, and are quick to dismiss the process as ineffective, since most well intentioned, if vague, resolutions have failed before the end of January.

Let’s get one thing clear straight away:

***Most such resolutions are perfect examples of how not to set goals!***

Research on goal setting in the world of business as well as sport and exercise has consistently shown that it can lead to enhanced performance.

In fact, a recent meta-analysis (evaluation of pooled data from a whole series of studies) showed that goal setting led to performance enhancement in 78% of sport and exercise research studies, with moderate-to strong effects. So how is it done?

***Short-term goals – the key to success***

Top athletes like Grant Hackett have understood that, although dream goals such as Olympic gold medals are important in helping to direct our efforts, it is the day- to-day ‘short-term’ goals that provide the key to success.

Let’s classify goals into three types:

*Dream goals are the ones that seem a long way off and difficult to achieve. In time terms, they may be anything from six months to several years away

*Intermediate goals are markers of where you want to be at a specific time.
For example, if your dream goal is to achieve your target 70 kgs weight (currently 86 kgs) by reducing 8 kilograms over 4 months, an intermediate goal could be a 4 kilograms improvement after two months or half a kilogram per week.

*Short-term or daily goals are the most important because they provide a focus for our training in each and every session. Past research on Olympic athletes found that setting daily training goals was one factor that distinguished successful performers from their less successful counterparts.

What action do you need to do in order to take the necessary steps towards your ultimate dream goal and set goals not just for the outcome, but for daily and weekly tasks.

***Why goal setting so often fails***

The dangers of ‘outcome goals’ that tend to focus on an objective competitive result, such as winning a medal or beating an opponent or achieving the number 1 ranked salesperson, can never be completely under your control since the ability and form of your opponents can influence the result.

You might even swim a PB (Personal Best) or achieve the sales targets but still fail to achieve your specific goal and so damage your confidence. Outcome goals can provide motivation, but focusing purely on the result can lead to increased anxiety.

That’s why it’s important to include ‘performance’ and ‘process’ goals in your training plan.

***Performance and process goals***

Performance goals can be easily readjusted to provide meaningful and realistic targets. ‘Process goals’ are to do with the actions or techniques that are required to achieve success.

Coaches in both sport and business; have a preference for performance and process goals, since these can be more easily and precisely adjusted than outcome goals, although all three types of goal should be used as appropriate to the individual and situation. One recent study found better results when using a combination of goal strategies (outcome, performance and process goals) than either one alone.

Here’s the technique coaches use to help remember the key principles of goal setting: think SMARTER. That is, your goals should be:

*Specific
– Indicate precisely what is to be done. Avoid vague alternatives
*Measurable – You should be able to quantify your goal
*Accepted – Goals must be accepted as worthwhile, realistic and attainable
*Recorded – Write your goals down. This is the basis of a contract with yourself
*Time-constrained – Set specific time limits
*Evaluated – Monitor your progress regularly
*Reversible – In the event of injury, or failure to achieve over-difficult goals, reset your goals accordingly

Cheers to you achieving your PB’s - personal bests and …..successfully eating an elephant one bite at a time.

Go for gold! Shelley Taylor-Smith

Be A Goal-Getter
Tuesday, July 15th, 2008

Weight Watchers keep it pure and simple…and as you know I promote to keep it simple when it comes to goal setting.

Enjoy this article below that I found courtesy of Weight Watchers. Some of you may have a health and fitness goal..actually all of you would knowing that without health and fitness you cannot enjoy all the qualities that a Champion life allows without having an abundance of energy and enthusiasm to go for gold!

If you want to look success fair and square in the face and grab it with both hands, the first step is to set goals. Behind every dream there is a plan. Have a go at our suggestions to help you get what you want.

Identify what you want
Knowledge is power and knowing what you want gives you the power to get it. In order to meet your goals, you have to be very clear about what they are, especially when it comes to eliminating credit card debt, saving up for that special family holiday, weight loss, attracting the partner of your dreams, securing that promotion, sourcing the best small business opportunity….the list is really endless.

To start, make sure your goals are:
Positive - the thought of achieving your goals should make you feel good.
Specific - state the who, what, when, where and how.
Attainable on your own - this means your success doesn’t rely on
another person’s actions.
A good fit within your life.

Also, reinforce your goals by writing them down — jot them in your journal or save them as a screensaver on your computer. Don’t forget to include anticipated payoffs like, ‘I will be healthier and feel better about myself’. You’ll be on your way in no time.

I created a screensaver of my purpose and vision for Champion Mindset and the Think Like A Champion Club. I watch this first thing every morning so I stay focused on the mission and goals on my “What’s Important to ME” list each day and week. Click here Scroll down to bottom of left hand side column, sit back and enjoy watching it now!

Make it real
The closer you feel to your goal, the more likely you are to achieve it, so visualise your success by imagining every last pleasurable detail. ‘See’ yourself looking fabulous in a new outfit, ‘feel’ yourself walking up stairs without getting breathless, and ‘hear’ the congratulations from other Members in your Meeting or others on the message boards when you reach your Goal weight.

Affirm your goal by saying it aloud.
For example, ‘I enjoy being slimmer’ (stating your goal in the present tense boosts your belief that you can make it happen).

For those of you who have seen my presentations and workshops or completed the GPS (Goal Planning System) GPS coaching program; you know the value of self belief! This is the Champion looking back at you when you look in the mirror. Reconfirm what you see by saying it out LOUD to yourself WOoooooo HOoooooo!!!! He/she will love you for it.

Above all, make it fun. Enjoy the process of achieving your goal, whether it’s getting more exercise or eating more healthfully.

Schedule your success
Realistically consider what you could achieve within six months, then break it down into mini goals. For example, if you aim to increase your fitness level by walking four kilometres a day, you could break this down into little mini goals by starting with half a kilometre then building up.

Break each mini goal down into weekly steps (week one, walk to bus stop; week two, walk to next stop along route before boarding bus, and so on). As the saying goes, a goal is a dream with a deadline!

Stay on track
Regularly review your plan, and tick off each mini goal as you achieve it. Be prepared to rework any objectives that prove overly ambitious (by extending your time frame, for instance).

There may come a time when, despite your best efforts, you’ve stopped making headway. It’s tempting to give up now, but put it in perspective. As Thomas Edison once explained, many of life’s
failures are people who did not realise how close they were to success when they gave up. So make a list of your achievements to date, and read it often to reinforce your will to persevere.

Reward results
Reward yourself regularly. You might go shopping, get a manicure or a massage for every kilogram you drop. By rewarding progress you build on your sense of achievement, increasing your overall chances of success.

So go get ‘em Champ!

Go for gold….it’s your birthright to achieve!

A cast-iron will is the only way!
Monday, June 23rd, 2008

As you Think Like A Champion with newly created Champion Statements and Success Strategies the result is a new reality including determination and deadlines.

5. Determined - You could have absolutely nothing else going for except desire and you could still achieve the most astonishing things in life. No education, no contacts, no looks, no bloodlines, no talent to speak of… just determination to succeed no matter what. History books are filled with amazing stories of people who had nothing except a cast-iron will to win and so they did.

That is why your mind will be infused with new, powerful beliefs that you will do whatever it takes to reach your major ambitions in life until you take your last breath. Whatever you want, in each area of your life, you will go and go and go until you succeed.

And then you will reach for more as a member of the Think Like A Champion Club.

The inner mental patterns of the most accomplished people… people you watch and read about, people who create, people who lead and win, people who you admire and want to be like. And now, with the help of Get Mentally Tough - Your Inspiration From Within!, people like you.

6. Deadlines - The difference between most “home study” courses and schools where you actually attend classes is that the traditional schools have success rates between 4 and 10 times greater than the “go at your own pace” approach. That is also the difference between goal oriented superstars and most everyone else…

…they give themselves deadlines - dates that they must achieve their outcomes by. Dates “set in stone.”

That is why the “Get Mentally Tough - Your Inspiration Within” series comes with your very own Champion Action worksheets to fill you with the attitude that deadlines are a good thing. A great thing. A priceless tool in your goal achieving arsenal. If deadlines only stress you out now, that will soon change.

Soon you will grow to love them, to look forward to them to practically live for them. Won’t that be a pleasant change?

Have you ever seen a Champion stand on the dais to accept their gold medal with slouched shoulders and disappointment written all over their face?

No of course not! Why? Welcome to the next reality Success Strategy

4. Achiever - The single biggest reason that people don’t achieve individual goals throughout their lifetimes is that their self image does not match the image of a person who does possesses the goal or who has the qualities to reach and keep the goal.

For example, when someone wants to increase their income from $30,000 per year to $60,000, in order to reach it and maintain it, it is critical that their self image is that of a $60,000 per year worker. They absolutely must feel capable and worthy of this amount of money, not logically, but emotionally. This is not only the most important mental pattern, it’s also the most difficult one to change.

If you have ever achieved a long-term goal and after a period of time went back to your old ways, it’s primarily because your self-image never changed… you still saw yourself as a person who did not have what it took to maintain the new set of Champion habits.

That’s why in the “Get Mentally Tough - Your Inspiration Within” monthly interviews available to Think Like A Champion Club members, you will hear and learn dozens of re-patterning statements designed to elevate your self-image to that of a Champion, a winner in all areas of life, a person who gets what they want, deserves to get it and who feels great joy on all levels while getting it.

When this “Champion Achiever Image” switch gets flipped all the way “On”; you will see it in you, you will feel it within you and there is practically nothing that can stop you from accomplishing anything you desire.

Check out these Champions you have access to learning from; their successful self-images, self-talk, Champion Statements and Success Strategies… and as they share the mistakes, you learn from them so you don’t have to make them.

Just imagine eradicating the old pensioner/I’m always broke mindset into a Millionaire Mindset…what would that Millionaire Mindset self-image look like?
